At Beef off the Heath we specialise in bringing the finest organic beef to local farmers’ markets and farm shops around West Cornwall. We have a herd of 350 Highland, Welsh Black and South Devon cattle that have been grazing the UK’s most southerly Nature Reserve on the Lizard, near Helston since 2002. As well as cuts of prime beef and burgers, Beef off the Heath has become renowned for handmade steak pies, using only the best organic beef.

Chy an Besow is a family run farm in Carleen,near Helston, specialising in rare breed pork, lamb and beef, as well as free range eggs and seasonal vegetables.
We have for sale fresh pork joints, chops, tenderloin and our great tasting sausages also a Cornish favourite hogs pudding, bacon and our own ham. We also have a selection of fresh lamb, free range eggs, home made scotch eggs, preserves, pickled eggs and a selection of home grown veg.

THE CORNISH PORK PANTRY
The Cornish Pork Pantry is a multi-award winning family farm from Grampound Road near Truro specialising in gluten free fine pork products and charcuterie.

EWEPHORIC LAMB
Paula Wills has been running Ewephoric Lamb from her 56 acre farm outside Penzance for 2 years, although she has had sheep for 15 years. Specialising in rarebreed Ryeland sheep, Paula believes in bringing locally reared meat to local markets reducing food miles and supporting the rural economy.
Ewephoric Lamb was one the first businesses to take part in Penzance Farmers’ Market when it started in 2008, and regularly takes part in some of West Cornwall’s smallest markets. Paula supplies sheep wool rugs, as well as prime cuts of lamb and some pork from her Cornish Black pigs. Ewephoric Lamb is only available at farmers’ markets in West Cornwall and direct from the farm.

PRIMROSE HERD
Primrose Herd is a family run pig farm on the outskirts of Redruth in West Cornwall. The award winning business prides itself on being able to provide all customers with full traceability on all their products and welcome visitors to come see how the animals are kept!
Primrose Herd products are delivered across Cornwall and are used in some of the county’s top restaurants including 15 at Watergate Bay. Specialists in sausages, bacon and gammons, Primrose Herd process and pack everything on their farm and deliver it fresh to farmers’ markets and outlets.
Primrose Herd are at Helston Farmers’ Market on the first Saturday of every month and at Truro Farmers’ Market every Wednesday and Saturday on Lemon Quay.

HIGHER TRENOWIN FARM
Higher Trenowin Farm lies between St Ives and Penzance and is the family run farm of Bridgette and Steve Clamp, where we run a single suckler beef herd along with free-range hens and a farm shop.
Rising to 700ft above sea level, the farm overlooks Mounts Bay and lies in an Environmentally Sensitive Area. Our farming practices are geared to preserving the wild life, flora and fauna and we work closely with the Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group and in 2006 came third in the OtterTrophy Conservation Award.

VICARAGE FARM
We started farming at Vicarage Farm in February 2000 having moved down from Norfolk. We started farming approximately 62 acres, mostly sheep and rented out the rest of the farm. By 2002, we started renting land from other people and we now farm 150 acres. We currently keep 60 head of cattle, 120 ewes, varying numbers of pigs and 1000 head of poultry. We are at present developing the poultry side of the business.
We have stocked Vicarage Farm well: For prime beef, Aberdeen Angus; for sheep, mainly Suffolk, but other more unusual breeds too - badger faced Welsh mountain, Hebridean and rare Castlemilk Moorit, some for their fine wools, some for their firm, well-flavoured meat. We like the old healthy, vigorous breeds.
